On Saturday afternoon, January 23,
2010, The Greater Boston Section of the
National Council of Negro Women sponsored a
food preparation class at Haley House for children. Teaching and
encouraging our children to prepare and eat
healthy meals is part of the NCNW-GBS
Overcoming Childhood Obesity Initiative. By
utilizing the guidance from the chefs at
Haley House
in Boston, MA, the NCNW-GBS is taking steps to educate families about
easy ways to eat healthy and reduce
childhood obesity. Just look at the photos
